One-liner to help them call you back

Here's a one-liner Here's a one-liner that will help ensure a good one will call you back.

Everybody knows that the biggest challenge in calling prospects, whether you know them or not, is getting them to call you back. Sigh. Don't we know, huh?

Well, there are lots of reasons people don't call you back. Some may not be really looking right now, some may have moved, etc. However, according to those who don't call back, the biggest reason is that they don't really believe what was said on the message they heard, and they're afraid the caller is going to talk them into something they really don't want to do.

Given that info, how about taking the fear out of calling you back, by adding one line to whatever pitch you make?

So We Can See If There's A Match, O.K.?

Pretend your message (that you leave) is:

"I'm calling because we're expanding our business out in your area, and I understand you may be looking for a position, so you can earn income from another source. If that's true, give me a call back and I'll tell you what we've got. Then, we can see if there's a match. OK? My # is..."

Does that message give the impression the person will be banged on whether they want it or not? Does it sound like Mr. Soupy Sales is going to pull one over on them?

Do the same for postcards and email. Always add that "We'd like to show you what we've got so we can see if there's a match. You know, between what you're looking for and what we have. OK?"

So We Can See If There's A Match, O.K.?

What if that helps take the fear out of them calling you back?
