Sometimes
a new prospect will ask, 'Well, what exactly do people do in this
business anyway? What do I have to do?'
Here's something:
'OK,
here's what we do: We reach out in lots of ways to find people who'd
like to get the same kinds of benefits we get. That's what we do to
grow our business. You got that part, right?'
'OK,
but like what? I'm not sure people I know are really the right ones...'
'No
problem. There are lots of ways to reach out to people...whether you
know them or not. For example, there are ways that make 'em come to
you, and ways where you go first. Ways that cost money and ways that
don't.
So you tell me which ones you want to see first, and I'll show you
what we do. Then, whatever you want to try, you can watch a team that's
doing that thing, either in person or over the phone. And after you
watch other people doing it, you can try it. Think you could do that?'
Then you make a date right on the spot to review the methods of reaching
out that are spelled out in the Truth
book and acted out on the MLM911 Tapes.
Go through the methods sections together, so the new person can see
all the choices there are.
Remember all 14 of those reaching out methods laid out in the Truth
book and Giant Heap series have made
someone a millionaire in the business.

Each of them has worked big time for someone out there, even if you
don't happen to like it. There's no reason everyone has to use the
same methods of reaching out. If someone has a big negative thing
about say, newspaper ads, well then, don't do that one. No big deal.
That person can do 3-5 of anything else they'd enjoy, and do those
things (i.e. methods of reaching out) with people who enjoy doing
them too. To each his own, as they say.
Ask yourself:
Does it really matter to you what reaching out methods people use
if they're successful and in your organization somewhere? So don't
you want to show them ALL the options?
